When times went bad in other places people moved to the US in hordes.<br />I guess there is no equivalent of the US to escape to today?<br /><br />P.S.: I don't see much hope in the US turning itself around. The job of dumbing people down, distracting them for eternity, was simply too well done. It will at the very least need a severe shock (war?) to wake people up from their delusions.
